Create Memories
The memory of guests rushing to the dance floor to dance and play air-guitar in front of the band when their favourite song comes on, is something you’ll remember forever. You’ll remember some for the songs your DJ played, but if you book a band, you’ll interact with them and remember so much more about your big day.
Have your First Dance played Live
Most bands will now provide this for you, and free of charge. For Funk Sake have always provided this service free of charge to all its Wedding clients (non-Wedding clients can also have a free song arranged and played too!). You’ll always remember your first dance, but you’ll remember more the feeling you have when it is performed by a live band.
Leave it to the Professionals
Wedding bands like For Funk Sake are hugely experienced in providing entertainment to Weddings and Events, so provide everything which a DIY solution cannot. What’s more, you can book a band you like, who will play songs you have heard/seen them play. So they will pull together the set list, meaning you don’t have to think about which songs you’d like, how you’d like them to sound etc. The band has it all covered!
Free DJ Service
Most bands now provide a free DJ service, playing songs through their PA system whilst the band is not performing. We’ve been offering this Free service since the band started, and as well as allowing you even more flexibility of which songs are played, can allow you to offset the cost of a DJ against the band cost. DJ’s are generally reported to cost between £300 and £500 on average.
Visually and Acoustically Stunning
The sight of a live band – guitars, drums, lights, microphones, keyboards, brass instruments – is stunning, and a sight that some people rarely see up close. This live sound – from the instruments and amplifiers in front of them – is an acoustic delight! It’s real life music. Not an MP3, or a streamed music file. It’s real. Interaction and Energy
